Sepehr Davalloukhoungar is an accomplished collaborative pianist, vocal coach, and conductor based in Boston, MA. He holds a Graduate Diploma in Collaborative Piano with Vocal Emphasis and Opera Specialization from the New England Conservatory, where he is currently pursuing a Graduate Performance Certificate.
A dedicated and versatile musician, Sepehr has worked with prestigious institutions such as the New England Conservatory of Music, Boston Festival Orchestra, New England Philharmonic, Miami Music Festival, and the Aspen Music Festival and School, where he was a Polonsky Foundation Fellowship recipient. His expertise spans opera, art song, orchestral performance, and choral accompaniment, with experience coaching singers in multiple languages, including Italian, German, French, Spanish, Czech, Persian, and Arabic.
Sepehr has served as a conductor, pianist, and music director for numerous opera productions, including Die Zauberflöte, Die Fledermaus, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Orfeo ed Euridice. He is also a faculty member at Brookline Music School, where he teaches piano and applies scientific and psychological studies in teaching neurodivergent students.
His performance career includes appearances at Jordan Hall, Shalin Liu Performance Center, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the National Orchestral Institute, and Aspen Music Festival venues such as the Joan and Irving Harris Concert Hall and Wheeler Opera House.
A prize-winning pianist, Sepehr was a finalist and runner-up in the Federation of the Art Song Fellowship competition and has received project grants from NEC’s Entrepreneurial Musicianship Department and Harvard COOP. He continues to be an active performer, mentor, and advocate for the arts, collaborating with world-class musicians and shaping the next generation of performers.
