Eligibility and Rules for the Keys to Success Music Competition

Eligibility
The competition is open to beginner, intermediate, and advanced musicians and vocalists of all ages. Submissions will be divided into categories based on both age and skill level.

Category Classification

  • Age Categories: Participants will be assigned to appropriate age groups.
  • Skill-Level Categories: Musicians will be placed in skill-level categories according to the duration of their musical studies:
    • Pre-Bronze: Up to 1 year of musical study
    • Bronze: 1–2 years of musical study
    • Silver: 2–3 years of musical study
    • Gold: 3–5 years of musical study
    • Additional levels may apply at the competition’s discretion.

Instrumentation
All non-electronic instruments are eligible for entry. Both vocalists and instrumentalists are invited to participate.

Submission Limitations
Each individual musician or group is permitted to submit one music piece per entry. However, multiple entries by the same musician or group are allowed. All participating musicians or groups must provide a public or unlisted YouTube link to their video submission within the application form, ensuring that all performers are clearly visible. Each video performance will be reviewed by our panel of judges, applying skill-level criteria to facilitate fair comparisons across all participants.

Performance Standards
All participants are expected to be properly dressed in attire suitable for a music competition, with hair styled to ensure their faces are fully visible on camera. Individual musicians should also ensure that their instrument and hands are visible at all times throughout the performance.

By submitting, participants consent to the use of their name, image, likeness, and performance for promotional purposes on our website and social media channels, without additional compensation. Should you wish to withdraw consent for promotional use of your performance, please reach out to us at contact@keystosuccesscompetition.com, and we will promptly accommodate your request.
